My education at LIM was all about exposure. I had multiple class projects where I had to speak to industry professionals. I attended career fairs where I met people in the industry. I completed four internships that integrated me into the fashion industry... Carolina Herrera is a brand I looked up to for as long as I can remember, and I got a wholesale intern role there. I would spend many hours in the showroom displaying the collection to buyers.

Every internship I had helped me grow personally as well as professionally—they helped me understand what part of the fashion business I wanted to pursue. My first internship was in the Adidas Fashion Group wholesale office. Then, I interned at People's Revolution and learned more about PR. After my Senior Co-op with Nickelodeon's Consumer Products and Licensing department, I knew I wanted to work in product.

Through the skills I gained as a Fashion Media major, I've been able to take on a variety of internships, jobs, and freelance work. Being part of The Lexington Line student magazine gave me journalism and leadership experience. These opportunities have allowed me to build a stellar résumé and portfolio.
